Travis Brown
Travis Brown is the creator of MORT and founder of Jetsetter Comics, based in Lexington, Kentucky with his wife, Chelsea; dog, Bruno; and cat, Kittyface.
He's worked in funeral homes since he was 17, giving him unique insight into the world of death care and plenty of material for a comic about a funeral director who hunts monsters. A lifelong writer with a passion for film and storytelling that pushes boundaries, Travis launched Jetsetter Comics to publish the genre-bending stories he couldn't find anywhere else.
When he's not writing or working at the funeral home, you'll find him enjoying movie marathons with Chelsea, tending his backyard pepper garden, or suffering through yet another Jets season.
MORT is his debut series. Up next: a comic about a cat. We have our suspicions about who inspired that.

What We’re Building
We’re still in the planning stage. A lot of ideas being thrown out to see what sticks. What we can say is that we envision Jetsetter as a place full of new, original voices. From all walks of life, telling the stories that THEY want to tell.
Our hope is that when you read one of our books you say, “That feels like a Jet-setter story.”
